AC MAINTENANCE · LAS VEGAS

Keep Your AC Running at Peak Performance.

A $89 tune-up now prevents a $600 emergency call in August.

Las Vegas AC systems run 3,000+ hours a year — more than triple the national average. Skipping maintenance doesn't save money. It accelerates failures, voids warranties, and guarantees a breakdown on the hottest day of the year.

EVERY TUNE-UP

The 15-Point EGO Tune-Up

Designed specifically for Las Vegas conditions — not a generic checklist from a national franchise.

1.
Thermostat calibration — Verify accuracy within 1°F
2.
Air filter inspection — Las Vegas dust clogs filters 2× faster than average
3.
Refrigerant pressure test — Ensure correct charge for current outdoor temp
4.
Electrical connections — Tighten, clean, and test all wiring connections
5.
Capacitor test — Measure microfarad rating — replace if degraded before July failure
6.
Contactor inspection — Check for pitting and arcing common in desert heat
7.
Compressor amp draw — Compare to manufacturer spec — catch early warning signs
8.
Condenser coil cleaning — Desert dust and cottonwood dramatically reduce efficiency
9.
Evaporator coil inspection — Check for ice buildup or restricted airflow
10.
Drain line flush — Prevent water damage from clogged condensate lines
11.
Blower motor inspection — Check bearing wear and amp draw
12.
Ductwork visual inspection — Look for disconnections, damage, or excessive dust
13.
Return air temperature split — Verify 15–20°F difference (supply vs. return)
14.
Safety control test — High-pressure switch, low-pressure switch, flame sensor
15.
System cycle test — Run full cooling and heating cycles, measure performance

$89 flat rate — no hidden fees.

WHY IT MATTERS

What Skipping Maintenance Really Costs

Up to 15%

Energy Savings

A dirty condenser coil forces your compressor to work harder. Clean coils = lower electric bills every month.

2–5 years

Lifespan Extension

Maintained systems in Las Vegas last 12–15 years. Neglected ones average 8–10. That's a $6,000–$9,000 replacement you're delaying.

$250–$600

Avg Emergency Call

After-hours emergency repairs in Las Vegas premium-priced and slow to schedule. A $89 tune-up prevents most of them.

10 years

Warranty Protection

Most manufacturers require annual documented maintenance to keep a 10-year parts warranty valid. No records = voided warranty.

Got Questions

AC Tune-Up Questions

How often should I get an AC tune-up in Las Vegas?
Twice a year — once in March (before summer heat) and once in October (before heating season). Las Vegas AC systems run 3× more hours than the national average, so annual maintenance isn't enough. Bi-annual service catches problems before the 115°F peak hits.
What does the $89 tune-up include?
A full 15-point inspection and cleaning: thermostat calibration, refrigerant pressure test, capacitor and contactor check, condenser coil cleaning, evaporator coil inspection, drain line flush, blower motor check, ductwork visual, temperature split measurement, and full system cycle test. If we find an issue, we tell you — no pressure.
Is the $89 credited if I need a repair?
Yes. If you approve a repair during the same visit, the $89 tune-up fee is credited toward the repair total.
Do I need to be home?
Yes — we need access to both the indoor air handler and the outdoor condenser. Most tune-ups take 45–60 minutes.
What's the difference between a tune-up and an EGO Shield membership?
A tune-up is a single service visit. EGO Shield membership includes two tune-ups per year, plus free diagnostics year-round, priority scheduling, and 15–20% off any repairs. If you plan to stay in your home and want to avoid surprise breakdowns, Shield is the better value.
